CASCADIA ARCHITECTS
Cascadia Architects and Parker Johnston Industries have collaborated to create a signature bar for the Gray Magazine DesignCon Destination Victoria opening and closing receptions. Inspired by the growing circular economy in Victoria and the need to orient design around the mantra of reduce reuse and recycle, the bar will be constructed of salvaged and waste materials, and will be demountable to be reused as outdoor furniture after the event. At the end of life, the materials — stainless steel sheet and glulam wood — can be fully recycled.
