The Design Trail is our curated selection of well designed places around the city.
The Malahat Skywalk is a spectacular 600-metre elevated boardwalk and spiral tower overlooking the Salish Sea. The structure was created in partnership with the Malahat Nation, and designed by Vancouver-based architect Brent Murdoch using local material from Kinsol Timber. The whole experience is wheelchair and stroller accessible, introducing visitors to the Malahat Nation through artwork, nature and story.
