INSTALLATION: A LIFETIME

TIME
10:00 am
LOCATION
Gabriel Ross, 1319 Government St.

A LIFETIME is an immersive vignette by Pamela Billinghurst and Renske Werner that blends design with storytelling. At its heart is a graceful dining table, the central piece of the installation, around which unfolds the narrative of a family’s life journey. Through hand-drawn illustrations projected onto the table, the story captures the intimate occasions, everyday rituals, and significant milestones that define life at home—sharing of meals, moments of solitude, and cherished memories. Each scene highlights a different stage, from the early days of budding love, to a bustling household, to the comfortable and enduring companionship relished in later life. The animation mirrors the carefully collected furniture and accessories, creating a seamless connection between the physical dining room and the projected narrative. This installation celebrates the warmth of ordinary moments, while showcasing thoughtful design that elevates the spaces and practices of life. A LIFETIME invites you to reflect on how your home can foster connection, reflection, and a deeper appreciation for the richness of human experience.

This event is a part of the Design Trail and is open May 1-4, 10am-6pm daily.
