Historic brick walls enhance the setting for Peter Flanagan’s monumental porcelain wall chargers. The works are a celebration of the artistic inspiration and legacy of China’s long cultural connection to clay.
Peter Flanagan’s work gracing the walls of the Ugly Duckling represents a labour of love over 40 years of studio practice. Energetically large in scale the work offers a ceramic canvas on which he explores a multitude of surface treatments. Historic brick walls and the contemporary porcelain chargers create a textural feast for the eyes.
