Celebrate our creative community at Design Victoria's launch party on 9 May!

Experience custom designer bars, installations, and free craft cocktails from the city's best mixologists.

Treat yourself to a night out at one of the city’s most talked about parties. Design Victoria’s Launch Party, produced in collaboration with Villeneuve Creative, brings together the top names in the design industry.

As a guest of the party, you’ll receive free premium drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic); live DJs and full sound system; custom design and art installations that light up the night.

The party will feature 6 designer bars including:

• Robert Blaney Design's bar, dubbed "the nest" will be illuminated with a contemporary custom light feature by Above90. Makers Mark mixologist Micah Dew will be serving custom drinks while creating dipped-wax glasses as a party souvenir.
• A collaboration between Mike Randall & Atelier Dimopoulos, this bar will be made almost entirely of materials recycled from previous shows/events including IDS Vancouver 2023 and will feature Mike’s signature bent wood lighting. The bar will be located in the Montauk Sofa lounge upstairs
• Toolpath Design and Steveston Creative will gamify their bar with a collaborative three-player challenge to navigate obstacles and raise a puck to the top of a track to earn their drinks.
• A whimsical landscape feature will greet you on entry, by Jennifer Sleigh Garden Design and Cedar & Soil
• Experience the decorative magnitude of V&A prints on a large wallpaper installation by interior designer Yanna King in collaboration with Maxwell Fabrics and ffabb
• Mark Ollinger Studio will bring his bar to life with a surrounding sculpture gallery.
  
• dHKarchitects will design a deconstructable DJ booth featured in the main space
  
• Washashore Carpentry is teaming up with Bjorn Reider whose bar will channel the experience standing in a forest.
  

The exclusive VIP event will take place from 7-8pm featuring food and delicacies by local chefs.
