DATA DRIVE MODELING AND POSSIBILITIES FOR VICTORIA
What does the future of community design look like? Who is involved, who is impacted, what needs to be considered, how far ahead do we need to look? These are just some of the questions that are posed by designers, community builders, property owners, residents, business owners and municipal officials when a city is experiencing transformation.
Join the Wiser and FaulknerBrowns team and Joaquin Karakas, senior urban designer at the City of Victoria at the Wiser Sharespace near the Selkirk Waterfront for a discussion and workshop that dives into the future of community design in our cities. A 30-minute overview of applying data-driven planning models in our city will be shared by FB, followed by a 30 min workshop to practice data inputs and how they can support multi-generational scenario planning, with a debrief and sharing over drinks and snacks to wrap up.
